Curriculum and Key Stages

Agora Portals International School has an administrative licence to teach all levels of education from Infant to Baccalaureate, also offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. Throughout the different educational stages, students achieve an excellent breadth and depth of knowledge, develop physical, intellectual and emotional growth and master at least two languages. They also develop their ability to analyse and present information, to evaluate and defend ideas, to solve problems creatively, to retain the knowledge they have acquired, to understand key concepts and to apply standardised methods.

Agora Portals – IB World School

Agora Portals International School is certified as an IB World School. At the Baccalaureate stage, we offer the possibility of studying the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB). Graduates of this internationally recognised programme complete their university studies earlier than other students, feel better able to carry out academic work requiring research and also cope better with demanding workloads and time management challenges.

Infant Education

The Infant Education stage is the foundation on which the entire educational process is based. At this early age, children begin their development (emotional, physical, social, cognitive) and early stimulation enables the multiplication of neuronal connections. Pupils assimilate knowledge and skills while developing the necessary strategies for later years. Using stimulation and communication, we help them to build their self-esteem and manage their emotions appropriately.

At this stage, children strengthen their personality and master skills and knowledge relating to oral expression and comprehension, reading, writing and arithmetic. They also develop social skills, work and study habits, artistic sense, creativity and affectivity.

Secondary Education

Secondary Education is a stage where specialisation begins, in which special importance is given to artistic education, as well as the introduction to a second foreign language, with a choice between French and German. We take into account the different needs of students at this age and their variety of interests when choosing their future. Taking into account the diversity of our pupils, we seek the personal development of each student, giving them individual attention according to their needs, aptitudes and preferences.

National Baccalaureate

The Baccalaureate is focused on students' subsequent access to the university environment. At this stage, the aim is to achieve intellectual and personal maturity in order to face adult life with greater guarantees of success. The school's objective at this stage is twofold: on the one hand, we offer pupils a high academic level, so that they obtain the best possible results in the University Entrance Exams (PAU) and, on the other hand, we train people capable of successfully facing the demanding level of university studies.
