Agora Portals has been acknowledged by UNICEF as a Benchmark in Children’s Rights and Global Citizenship

Agora Portals International School has been acknowledged by UNICEF as a benchmark in Children’s Rights and Global Citizenship (Initial Level) for the academic years 2018/19 and 2019/2020. With this distinction, UNICEF wishes to acknowledge the work carried out by the schools committed to this cause and identify them as a reference in the implementation of Children’s Rights in school life: schools in which Children’s Rights are considered in every decision, in every programme and in every class and are an inspiration for the whole educational community.

UNICEF Education highlights in its technical report the commitment of Agora Portals with Children’s Rights and Global Citizenship, which are reflected in the school’s educational Project and integrated in its programming via specific activities where the school community shows its support and commitment. It also acknowledges the coordination between the management team, teaching team and special needs department to make explicit the focus on Children’s Rights in all subjects, as well as the participation of the teaching team in the training on Children’s Rights proposed by UNICEF.
